In 2003, Muhammad Nadeem, Fresh & Fresh’s founder and president, saw an opportunity to provide customers with halal snacks and appetizers that were not prevalent in Ontario.
At the time, he felt the lack of traditional South Asian foods in the market meeting halal requirements. He started the business by making handmade high-quality halal meat products with the help of his wife; hand-made products are still a core of the manufacturing process.
